Knocked out of the FA Cup by a very good Wigan team, 1-0 down at half-time, big improvement 2nd half, pushed for the equaliser that would have sent the game into extra-time but were caught on the break in the 90th minute to kill us off.

A hard fought victory against a much improved Newthlaites team, game played in difficult conditions, two early goals from Megan Murdock and Katie Maxwell enough to secure the points.

Whitehaven's fringe players all got a run out in this game against the league's bottom team, Linzi Evans ( 4 ), Yula McCourt ( 3 ) Rachel Kitchen, Kirsty Robson all got on the score sheet plus Mairead Kinsella and Zoe Robinson ( 2 ) got their 1st goals for the club.

Hard fought away victory at Carlisle, 2 early goals from Megan Murdock before she was forced off injured, had to play the remaining 70mins with only 10 players, done well to add further goals through Natalie Broad ( 2 ) and Linzi Evans.

A cruel defeat which all but scuppers our chances of the league, Harraby the better side over the 90mins and deserved the win against an out of sorts Whitehaven, big decisions went against us, 2-0 down to two controversial goals, Natalie Broad pulled one back late on .

Through to the final with an excellent performance against a spirited Abbeytown team who will be a force in the future as their young team gains experience, hat-trick from Natalie Broad, two from Lauren Fryer and one from Katie Maxwell saw us through.

Game of 2 halves due to the gale-force wind, 1st half goals from Lauren Fryer ( 2 ), Katie Maxwell and Kelly Murray saw Whitehaven lead 4-0 at the break, backs-to-the-wall job 2nd half to clinch the points.

Excellent hard fought victory, 2-2 at half-time after 2 goals from Katie Maxwell, moved up a gear 2nd half and clinched the points with a Natalie Broad hat-trick ( 2pens ).

Whitehaven saved one of their best performances of the season to beat a strong Kendal side and take the 3points that wrapped up the league title, 1st half goals from Fiona Buglass, Katie Maxwell and Lauren Fryer saw Whitehaven lead 3-0 at the break, a second half free-kick from Natalie Broad secured the points.

Rounded the season off in superb fashion by winning the cup and completing the double, 3 up at Half-time with goals from Megan Murdock ( 2 ) and Natalie Broad, Katie Maxwell and Kelly Murray added 2 more to put us 5-0 up, Crown Newthlaites to their credit battled to the end and were rewarded with 2 late consolation goals.
