Kevin Connelly - position: Centre Midfield/striker - nicknames: Con
Kevin signed for Whitehaven from Salterbeck and is now an integral part of the squad, he has unbelievable ability with the ball at his feet and ended as the club's leading scorer last season.
Darren Donald - position: Wing - nicknames: Beetlejuice, Daz
Another of the former Windscale players, Darren has played the majority of the games for the club this season, and has been employed mainly as a winger, however he can also play up front, he is a skillful player who can create a goal out of nowehere, and he is often on the scoresheet himself.
Malcolm Holliday - position: Centre Midfield - nicknames: Mal
Malcolm is the vice captain of the club and is vital to the clubs push for success, his passing and love of a tackle are just two of the qualities which make up this centre midfielder. Also has an eye for goal and has scored a couple of goals from outside the box this season.
Kevin Law - position: Centre Midfield - nicknames: Snout, Kev, Lawsy
Kevin's favourite position is in the centre of midfield however he has also been employed as a centre back this season where he has filt in amicably. Signed from Windscale in the summer Kevin has settled in well and has made a number of apearances for the first team this season.
Carl McGrady - postion: Centre Midfield - nicknames: Carlo, Chief
Carl deservedly got the Managers player of the year last year after a great season, he is great in the air and in the tackle and he hasnt missed many games for the club this season. Carl is also the club penalty taker and is reliable from the spot, having missed none of the penalties he has took this season.
Stuart Shaw - position: Centre Midfield - nicknames: Stu
A relatively new signing but Stuart is already a valued member of the first team squad, his energy and timing of runs into the opposition box cause problems and it is hoped he will have a big future for the club.
Gary Hewitt - position: wide right/left - nickname: Gaz, Carcrash
Released by Morecambe and forced his way into the side after several strong appearances for the reserves. Always gives 100% and played in a variety of positions for the team.
Darren Johnston - position: midfield: - nickname: DJ
Signed from Cleator Moor Celtic and impressed in pre season games. Good passer of the ball and has a strong tackle. Already a valuable member of the squad.
